Sermon: “Desiring God” – Psalm 84 – Pastor Mark Rogers
A Word from Our Bulletin:
“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”
— John Piper, Desiring GodGod is most glorified in us when He becomes the highest desire of our lives. The Christian life is not merely duty or outward obedience, but deep satisfaction in God Himself. When we delight in the Lord above all else, our worship becomes genuine and our obedience flows from joy rather than obligation.
True Christian living is not the exchange of earthly pleasures for religious effort, but the discovery of a greater pleasure that outweighs them all. Every other source of satisfaction will fade or disappoint, but the joy found in God endures forever.
Even in trials, the believer can rejoice because God Himself remains unchanged and present. May our hearts find their rest and joy in Him alone.
Thank you for watching and joining together in worship.
May you all be blessed,
Pastor Mark Rogers
