Sermon: “The Godly Woman” – Proverbs 31:10-31 – Pastor Mark Rogers
A Word from Our Bulletin:
A Mother’s Day Reflection
Motherhood is a calling that time does not diminish, but rather refines. The busy years of raising children may pass, yet the deeper work of a mother’s life continues on. The world may measure motherhood in seasons, but God measures it in faithfulness.
In Isaiah 46:4, the Lord gives this tender promise: “Even to your old age I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you.” What a comfort to know that the God who sustained you in the days of activity and responsibility is the same God who walks with you in quieter seasons. He has not set you aside; He continues to work through you.
Elizabeth Elliot once wrote that the deepest things in life are often learned in the quiet places. This is especially true in motherhood. The unseen prayers, the steady trust, and the enduring love of a mother are never wasted. They are gathered up in God’s purposes and used in ways far beyond what we can see.
Even now, your influence remains. A word spoken in wisdom, a prayer lifted in faith, a life lived in quiet trust, these are powerful testimonies. Children, grandchildren, and those within the church family are still being shaped by your example.
On this Mother’s Day, we give thanks for you. Your journey reflects the sustaining grace of God, and your life continues to point others to His faithfulness.
Thank you for watching and joining together in worship.
May you all be blessed,
Pastor Mark Rogers
