A Word from Our Bulletin:
Campers on Mission is a fellowship of evangelical adult Christians with a common mission: to share our faith and the love of Jesus Christ while camping and participating in various mission activities.
The North Carolina Campers on Mission (NCCOM) run an extensive, highly regarded volunteer outreach ministry during the N.C. State Fair in Raleigh. They operate out of a historic chapel in Heritage Circle, providing daily church services, entertainment, prayer, a listening ear and practical help, such as needed items, to traveling carnival workers. They partner with the Raleigh Baptist Association in this ministry.
Our church can support this effort through prayer and donations. Needed items include gently used work or tennis shoes, belts, black slacks, coats, sweatshirts, blankets, socks, gloves, ball caps and knitted caps, as well as travel-size hygiene products. Donations may be brought to the church and given to Emma Lupton by October 4th.
Mona Sadler will deliver them while serving at the fair (October 15–25). She has a truck—let’s help fill it!
Check your closets for donations to help spread the word and love of Jesus.
